Best Uniform Shoes, my opinion, now on SALE $11.24 TODAY!

So with this being the first year our daughter has been in a private school where a uniform is required, it has been interesting trying to match that with deals.  I have been overwhelmed by the ability to find all our needs at GREAT prices.  Since about a month ago, I am already done with next year's uniforms for our daughter and son due to the great sales that happened in the winter.  But today I would love to let you know about an essential shoe.  For my daughter, she likes different shoes, but I knew I wanted to find a uniform shoe that was sturdy enough for everyday.  She is very hard on her shoes and typically, whether I buy name brand or off brand sneakers, she wore holes in them quickly.  She also has a narrow foot.  I know Lands' End quality is great, but this year it proved it self by this Mary Jane Shoe.  It is great because it has a rubber sole, so she can run around at recess but yet it fits the uniform standard. I tell you all of this because it normally runs $39.50, but Lands' End has them on sale for $14.99!  This is a great deal for a great shoe that still is intact after a whole school year.   Even if you don't need them for uniform shoes, they are great for your little one.  They come in different colors and fabrics. The awesome thing about Lands' End is if they wore through, they would replace because of their warranty

They also have an additional 25% off everything, TODAY, using the Promotion Code: SAVE25 and PIN: 1455.

Making these shoes $11.24 today only.

60 photo cards for $4.90 shipped from SeeHere

I was delaying in making Christmas cards this year because life has been so crazy.  Well it paid off, because SeeHere has a deal, through December 12, 2010, where you can order 60 photo cards for the price of $4.90 shipped.  Here's how:
  1. If you do not have an account, you can create one at SeeHere.com.
  2. Create a 4x8 single sided, flat photo card and save it
  3. Add 60 cards to your cart (you have to order 60, any other number you will not get the $4.90 shipped)
  4. Use coupon code 50cards.
I needed more than 60 cards, so I went back in after my order and ordered 24 more cards.  If you don't need the 60 you can just use this to get 24:
  1. Click on Edit the card you created previously (or create a new card if you previously didn't order)
  2. Add 24 cards to your cart (once again any other amount will not give you the deal)
  3. Use coupon code 25cards and only pay $2.49 shipped
I have ordered many photo cards in my time, and I think they have a great selection and I like how you can edit right on the site.

Thanks, Money Saving Mom!

I just got back from CVS who is having Buy One Get One Free Zhu Zhu items.  You can also get a coupon for BYGOF here.  Combining both specials, you bring 4 pets to check out and only pay for one.  At my store they were $9.88 each, so I got 4 for $9.88 + tax.  The fact they also have the accesories on sale, is a pretty good deal too!

*HOT* Cereal for $.50!

So I was at Food Lion picking up some other cereal, when I see what I couldn't believe.  They had this cereal on sale for $.50, regularly $2.  They have 4 different "flavors" to choose from.  I asked the manager if there was a limit and he told me no, so I loaded up on this cereal as well as a few favorites I was there to get.  I don't know if this is just a local special, but worth looking into near you!

Lane Bryant - $20 off $40 through 9/13/10

Lane Bryant is having $20 off $40 through 9/13/10 on thier website.  They also offer free shipping to their stores, which includes any Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, or Catherines.  They are having a great sale on their career pants which I love and last forever.  Regularly $59.50, now marked down to $29.99.  Match with the $20 deal for great savings.  I needed some boots but wanted them in black and brown, so I did two orders and could use the code for both.  Therefore, I really saved $40. Use code 020002725 during checkout.

The Melting Pot - Dinner for four for the price of two!

I just received an email that one of The Melting Pots in our area is doing a Double Date Night next Thursday, September 16th.  You can go on a double date at the cost of $68 for all four.  It includes Cheese Fondue, Choice of Petite Salad, Double Date entree.

They have a side note from the email "Dessert and beverages not included. Mojo or Coq au Vin cooking styles are $5 extra per pot. Gratuity based on original $34 per person pricing." But in my eyes still a great deal since it usually is $34/person. Go to The Melting Pot's website to see if your restaurant is participating.

Thrifty Thursday - Ebates

Ebates is an awesome site that goes right along with the mission of my blog.  We all shop and most do so online.  Well Ebates is way for you to cash in on the purchases made online.  Certain stores give you a percentage back when you go through EbatesEbates sends you a check, deposits into your PayPal account or donates to your favorite charity four times a year or more.

When I first went on I was amazed how easy it was.  You type in the store you want to go to, then you click search.  Ebates takes you right to the site and logs it, so when you place the order it will take the percentage of your order and place into your account.  Most are 2%, but the one I happen to go on was Old Navy and they were 10% at the time.  They also list sales going on, so for instance if a store is having 30% off they will have the code you should enter at checkout.

The other thing I loved is that they list the sites you frequent so if you click on "MyEbates" after logging in, you can see and just click from there.  The hardest thing to remember is to go to Ebates first before you start shopping, but after a couple times it becomes habit.

If you want you can sign up here and get a bonus $5.  It is free and I don't know why anyone wouldn't sign up.
